Come hear local authors Karin Welss and Marian Gibbons (aka Michaela August) talk about the process of writing and getting books published, both in print format and as e-books. They will discuss manuscript preparation, query letters, the submission process, and agent/editor scams to avoid.

Copies of their books will be available for sale after the event, and refreshments will be served.

In other news: Karin, who makes up one-half of the Michaela August writing team, turned in the final manuscript for Twist of Honor, a historical romance set in 17th-century England, at the court of Charles II. This novel will be published in July, 2007 in both ebook and trade paperback format.
